We were sent this photo from justjared.com featuring Cruz Beckham clad in one of our favorite lines for boys, Ben Sherman (bensherman.com). Yes, this is the same adorable 3-year old boy who was breakdancing in one of the Spice Girls’ recent performances. He’s also working those red shorts, and is quite the headturner, just like his trendsetting parents.

Actress Salma Hayek’s daughter, Valentina Paloma Pinault, is wearing the pink and brown Peyton sneakers from the current Kuuru collection. Valentina’s father, Francois-Henri Pinault, is reportedly the 3rd richest man in France, and owns and runs PPR (subisidiaries of which include Gucci, YSL, Balenciaga, etc). (kuurushoes.com)

We adore this children’s line from Local Celebrity called “Little Celebrity (As Seen On Cool Kids)” because they carry simple slogans like “Respect” (seen here on Pax Jolie-Pitt) to bad-ass band tees like “Black Sabbath” (on Zahara). We’re just waiting for the line to send the Brangelina brood a “Who’s Your Daddy?” tee, because it’s so cool what their answer would be to that (localcelebrity.com).

New Zealand-based baby clothing and accessories company, Nurtured by Nature, is a guilty pleasure. With A-List fans like the Beckhams and Jolie-Pitts, the line is huge in Europe and is steadily making a name for itself in the U.S. market. We hope more stores carry this brand because it’s not just a perfect line for your own babies, it is a fabulous baby shower gift as well (you know, when they open your present at the shower and other parents look at you like that “momma who just knows her thang”). Anyway, they are not mass-produced so they may be on the pricey side (it says on their site that a Nature’s Dream gift set is $200.30) they make pieces that you will treasure for generations to come. One of our fave boutique online stores is IL COCCO DI MAMMA, and this time, owner Donna Bottari has a new set for the little world traveler (or what you hope them to be, at least). It comes in an adorable suitcase filled with goodies—with an international flair that will be language themed: Spanish–La Maletta Espaniola, Italian–La Valigia Italiana, French–La Valise Francais. It includes a DVD that teaches your kids Italian, Spanish, or French, two onesies with words in different languages, a mini picture book, handcrafted and embossed wooden blocks with foreign alphabets, and 2 cute hand puppets thrown in for extreme cute-ability ($48 to $124 at ilcoccodimamma.com).

You can’t go wrong with LUXEBABYGIFTS.COM’s special gift collections, which are a hodgepodge of delectable gift items that are perfect for any occasion. The Perfect Collection includes in a set of hand-painted, non-toxic wooden blocks stamped with images of old toys, letters, and numbers, and a colorful hand-sewn Yo-yo doll made from quilting scraps fashioned into a bunny, puppy, piglet, or mouse. There is also a little Brag Book, CD (featuring 16 favorites such as “Rock-A-Bye-Baby,” and “Hush Now, My Baby”), and Erbaviva baby shampoo and soap ($108, luxebabygifts.com).

Pottery Barn
Pottery Barn Kids baby clothing was borne in the late summer of 2006, with the idea of offering both parents and gift-givers a sense of assurance (it is Pottery Barn, after all). To up their game, the 100% Organic Cotton Collection brings natural purity and exceptional softness to everyday baby clothing, because each piece is made without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. Gotta love that (Pottery Barn stores).

Toy Story
Hug-A-Wheely Bug
Give me a ladybug on wheels, and you’ll see why the VW is one of the bestselling cars of all time. Aside from the aww-factor, kids will love hopping on the Wheely Bug, a wooden platform set lowly on swiveling wheels, topped with a rounded body that is shaped and spotted like a ladybug, finished off with a pair of antennae. Kiddos can sit comfortably on the seat padded with one-inch layer of soft sponge, and they can hold on to the handlebars, which are also padded in case of accidental bumps. Driving is a cinch due to the multi-direction swivel wheels, which can also be maneuvered by bigger or stronger kids on carpeted floors. Since it’s set very close to the ground, it is virtually safe for little kids, as toppling over is unlikely to cause any serious injuries. But still keep that watchful eye, because you’ll never know what kind of acrobatics they may want to attempt (Wheely Bug, Cow, or Bee, $69.99 to $79.99, princelionheart.com).
Djeco My Cooker Wooden Toy
Spice up your kid’s playtime with this quaint little cooking set from French company, Djeco. The My Cooker Wooden toy includes a stove/oven, a shaker set, a pot, a pan, a spoon, a spatula, and a cloth towel, and a flower-shaped timer. The pieces are all made out of wood and coated with non-toxic paints and finishes, so that it is completely child-friendly for ages 3 and up. The pretty pinks and the bright yellows are an appetizing treat for the eyes, too ($78.99, oompa.com).
Victorian Dollhouse
As a kid, most of us dreamt of owning a lovely Victorian home, or at least a look-alike to play house with. The charming Melissa & Doug Wooden Victorian Dollhouse, which is a miniature version of 19th century Victorian homes, is beautifully handcrafted to the tiniest detail, with intricate moldings, floorboards and tiles, mahogany staircases, ornate furniture, homey hues, and scalloped roofing. This heirloom boasts of elegant silver, serving plates, goblets, candlesticks & gourmet food in the kitchen, nursery furniture which includes a crib, rocking horse, cradle, rocking chair, complete with books, toys, wagon and stroller—and these are just a few of its enchanting components. Makes you wish you were a kid again, really. ($149.99, ages 6 and up, fatbraintoys.com)
The Tower of Fun
The best place for a kid to start learning about responsibility and teamwork is at home, particularly in the kitchen—the Fascinating Land of Yummy Creations. Feed your child’s curiosity and let him join in the fun, with The Learning Tower, a sturdy platform that safely boosts kids to countertop levels so they can have a look-see (recommended for children aged 18 months to 6 years, it can also hold up to 500 pounds—and that’s one child who’s had one too many Gingerbread cookies right there—but, surprise, it can hold two kids at the same time). Even though they are a bit shy of 2 or 3 feet tall, that’s no roadblock to having a grand time cooking with mom and dad (provided of course, you clear the counter of dangerous utensils—the Tower can only do so much). It also transforms into a fort, a desk, and a puppet theater, with the optional Playhouse Kit. ($189.95 for the set, littlepartners.com).
